What is CapCut?

CapCut is a video editing application available on iOS, Android and the web, as well as PC and Mac. It is the fastest way to create videos for your social media platforms, and the most intuitive editing app on the market. Billed as a simplified version of Final Cut Pro, it is packed with straightforward tools for video, audio, motion graphics and colour grading.

Record video on your phone or access files in the cloud and start editing. If you did not finish the edit before you got home, you can jump onto your tablet or desktop and finesse the story before publishing to the platform of your choice.

CapCut is free to use, and the free version is all you need for this course. There is a paid tier if you want it, priced differently depending on whether you subscribe through the website or an app store, so check CapCut directly for the current cost.

About the course

Learn the basics, or refine your skills with instruction designed to inspire. In one day you will develop the skills and knowledge to edit with CapCut. Together we tour the interface and learn to build a rough cut. You will be shown tools and time-saving tips to polish and export your video into the formats you need, ready to share with your audience.

We cater to all experience levels, from beginner to advanced, as well as specialist and bespoke courses. Designed by professional editors for anyone who has to learn how to create simple or complex edits.

Live virtual classes. Busy schedules, travel expenses and cost savings mean we offer hands-on live virtual classes as well as face-to-face. Hosting individual or group sessions, our live virtual classes are fully interactive for video and chat. Your class is also recorded for you to review for up to two weeks afterwards, from the comfort of your own home.
